Orange Ohio Pinecrest developers line up retail tenants

Orange Ohio is a little community that is 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland.  It boost one of the best school system and a Miles Grocery Store that is second to none.

Now Orange is working making this community a bigger and better shopping area.  I sold a home in Orange about a year ago and they were trying to buy out some homes to build a 70 acre shopping complex. They said it had to be approved at the time.

I just saw this story from Cleveland.com by Michelle Jarboe McFee, The Plain Dealer

She explains 

" Nearly a year ago, voters in the small East Side village of Orange signed off on a 70-plus-acre rezoning north of Harvard Road and east of Interstate 271. Now the developers tackling that site say they've lined up tenants for 140,000 square feet of stores and restaurants - just over a third of the planned retail space."

Which is a very nice mid sized facility that will bring a a lot of amenities to this area. Including and really most important to me a 1200-seat theater that will have many different venues to watch including Independent Films and plays.

Orange is just 2 minutes from Woodmere which also has a great shopping area that includes a Apple store which is very important to me.  Click here to see this shopping area.  Beachwood Mall is also very close by 5-10 minutes.  

What do real estate investors care about this stuff for?  Amenities mean higher prices for real estate in the area. These are areas we watch for our investors.  Remember walking and driving to an area is completely different.  People will pay more to walk to an area than drive.  They also like to have many different options to choose from.  Lastly this area is close to The Pancake House my absolute favorite Breakfast Place.  They Bake there pancakes and Omelets and they are to die for.
