I know a lot of real estate investors think that December is a bad time to do anything in real estate investing.
There's nothing that could be further from the truth. I personally really like December because there are two things that happen. You can get better buys in real state because there are less buyers. You can also sell real estate because there is less advertising for buyers in the market.
I know this because I went to a showing yesterday at a home I just finished and had a very interested client that will probably write an offer next week. Most people were watching football or shopping I was selling real estate. We had another house out in Hudson Ohio but also had a very interested buyer. There is simply less inventory for buyers to look at.
As most of my clients know I advertise very heavily for good reason. It keeps properties selling and helps find the better deals that are out in the market.
December is only four weeks and by the time you find a house to purchase you're probably going to be into January. So anytime you're looking to purchase real estate start up the new year Decembers probably the best time to buy.
